Hello! If you don’t know me (although, if we’re being honest, you probably do) my name is Abigail. I am, if you haven’t noticed, a self proclaimed romantic comedy addict. I am also a Christian, a baker, and an avid reader. Along with all of that, I’m an eighteen year old girl who is figuring out life, and who is in desperate need of a hobby. That’s where this comes in!
This blog is essentially going to be a digital diary- my thoughts, my life, my recipes- and, yes, I will find a way to tie it all back to romcoms. It’s a talent of mine.
This idea stemmed from a few things, one being a trip that I took to Notting Hill. It was just a few solo hours exploring the real life setting of one of the dreamiest rom coms, but I knew I had to share about it with someone! Then, as I was searching for an online job, somebody recommended blogging to me. Honestly, we all know I’m making little to no money from this, but I LOVED the idea. It reminded me of the books and movies of my not-so-long-ago youth, like Sew Zoe or Confessions of a Shopaholic. I knew I had to do it!
I expect this blog to grow and change as I do the same. It might be overwhelmingly cringe at times, or deeply personal, or honestly just bad. But that’s ok, because it means it’s real! So, if you’re along for the ride- thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope it’s as much fun for you as it is for me.
After all, I’m just a girl, sitting in front of a reader, asking them to read her blog.
